As Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz said when visiting the Summer House in Season 9, “You guys have to cherish these moments.” And while we know that he was saying it to Paige DeSorbo and Ciara at the time, in hindsight, he should’ve been saying it to all of us. Because while we’ve been gearing up for a perfect season with a perfect cast, this scandal aka Amandoval, West Side Story, ScAmandal (I don’t even know what we are calling it at this point in time), has suddenly left us questioning not only our houseguests, but also our judgment of character. West had been dubbed as the breakout star of Summer House since his first season when he took the public scrutiny of his behavior towards Ciara and clawed his way back into the audience’s good graces, winning hearts this season. And Amanda has been a near-OG Summer House cast member, synonymous with the franchise season after season, and bringing her big sister energy to the house.
