Today, on the sidelines of our first Coursera + Udemy Partner & Instructor Forum in Madrid, we announced more than 30 new programs and several exciting platform updates — all designed to help learners and creators better navigate the changing skills landscape. Held in partnership with Real Madrid at their Bernabéu Stadium, we brought together our top university partners, industry educators, and instructors from around the world to discuss emerging trends, best practices, and new innovations.
Our recent 2026 Global Skills Report introduces the industry’s first AI-Human Skills Synergy Index, underscoring that the workforce of the future needs AI fluency and human judgment together — not one at the expense of the other. While AI deployment is outpacing talent readiness by 2x, bridging this gap will take deliberate investment in skills to determine the winners and losers in the AI era.
We’re proud to work with 400 university and industry partners on Coursera and more than 95,000 Udemy instructors who are responding to rapidly changing skills with timely, relevant learning experiences.

These new courses on Udemy come directly from experts using AI in their work today, sharing the real-world workflows and human judgment skills that learners need to use AI effectively at work.

Product updates designed to empower creators to deliver engaging learning experiences
With more than 300 million registered learners across Coursera and Udemy, we’re continuing to evolve the platform experience alongside our content. Our latest updates give creators new ways to connect with learners, showcase their expertise, and use AI to build engaging learning experiences:
- Redesigned Instructor Profiles on Udemy: Redesigned profiles give learners a clearer view of an instructor’s expertise, offerings, and community before they join. The new experience also gives instructors more ways to showcase their expertise and manage their profile and content directly.
- Udemy Communities: Instructors want a way to stay connected to learners after a course ends, and learners need a place to continue learning together. Udemy Communities now gives instructors a paid, instructor-led community space for discussions, live activities, and more. Seventeen communities are live, with eight more coming soon.
- AI-Assisted Dialogue and Role Play authoring on Coursera: Building a realistic practice scenario using an AI persona and a fair grading rubric used to take course authors several hours. Now, creators can generate a full draft in minutes, making it faster to build interactive learning experiences and easier to update them as skills and subject matter evolve. Currently available to all content partners and Enterprise customers.
In a world that is changing so rapidly, learners and customers are constantly looking to develop new skills to achieve their goals. Together with our partners and instructors, we’re making it easier for everyone to be better prepared for the future.
