Once a Bundy, always a Bundy.
Actor David Faustino, who played Bud Bundy on Married… With Children, says he and Christina Applegate, who played his older sister, Kelly, have remained close.
“We talk often,” Faustino said in a new interview with Extra. “She’s helped me with a lot of things in my life, and I’m hoping I’m being there for her.”

Applegate has been open about her struggle with multiple sclerosis, which she revealed in 2021. She and actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who also suffers from the condition, talk about it in-depth in their MeSsy podcast.
Faustino said he’s proud.
“She’s getting through it with humor,” he said. “She’s very sarcastic, very dry, always has been and continues to be, and she still makes me laugh.”
Faustino and Applegate are set to reunite with their TV parents, Ed O’Neill (Al) and Katey Sagal (Peg), on Wednesday at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles for “An Evening with The Bundys: The Married… with Children Cast Reunion.”
The evening will benefit an organization that’s particularly special to them all.
“I said, ‘Christina, which foundation would you like this to go to?'” Faustino recalled. “And she said, ‘Race to Erase MS.’ The medicines and drugs that have come out from the research they’ve done have been life-changing.”

While their upcoming event is billed as a long-awaited reunion, Faustino, Applegate, and their TV parents appear to have stayed close in the decades since their sitcom, which aired for 11 seasons on Fox starting in 1987, ended its original run in 1997.
For one thing, Applegate, who’s understandably made fewer public appearances in recent years, has hosted all of her former costars on her podcast.
When O’Neill was a guest, she raved about him being “an incredible actor” and “an incredible human being.”
And, when the Dead to Me star received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in November 2022, both Faustino and Sagal were there to cheer her on.
He spoke of how Applegate had a “fearlessness” from the moment they met.
