WWE SummerSlam 2025 is set to make history on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, as it storms into MetLife Stadium for the first-ever two-night SummerSlam. With a 6 PM ET start time on both nights, this year’s spectacle is more than just “The Biggest Party of the Summer”—it’s a game-changing moment in WWE history. Fans in the U.S. can stream it live on Peacock, while international viewers can catch the action on Netflix or WWE Network in select regions.
This year’s SummerSlam brings double the action and double the drama, headlined by John Cena’s final SummerSlam appearance as an in-ring performer. Hosted by Grammy-winning artist Cardi B, the weekend will feature championship clashes, epic returns, celebrity involvement, and unforgettable moments across both nights. From a brutal Street Fight between Cena and Cody Rhodes to a high-stakes Six-Pack TLC tag team war, this event isn’t just breaking ground as the first two-night Summer PLE…it’s smashing through it.
MetLife Stadium, which previously hosted WrestleMania 29 and 35, will now become the third WWE venue to welcome three major events. It also marks the fourth SummerSlam in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with the last one held in 2007. Backed by US$7.125 million in federal tourism aid from New Jersey, this weekend is expected to generate over US$80 million in regional economic impact—and deliver two nights of sports entertainment at its finest.
