Amazon and Uber have launched a new delivery benefit that lets U.S. Prime members place restaurant orders of $25 or more with no delivery fee, all handled directly through Amazon.com and the Amazon Shopping app. The service runs on Uber Eats infrastructure and requires no separate Uber account, login, or app download. Members simply use their existing Amazon credentials to browse menus, place orders, and complete checkout.

The benefit covers every Prime membership tier in the United States, including the reduced-price options for young adults and the Prime Access program. It is live across nearly 10,000 cities and towns, spanning dense urban centers, suburban neighborhoods, and smaller rural communities. Members can order from hundreds of thousands of restaurants that form one of the country’s largest delivery networks. The selection mirrors what is available on Uber Eats itself and includes national chains as well as regional and independent restaurants in local areas.
“Together with Amazon, we built an experience for Prime members designed to make restaurant delivery feel as natural, convenient, and affordable as ordering anything else on Uber Eats,” said Andrew Macdonald, President and COO, Uber. “We’re excited to connect our restaurant community with new Prime fans, while giving Prime members a seamless way to enjoy great food from restaurants through Uber Eats.”
In addition to zero delivery fees on qualifying orders, Prime members receive exclusive promotional offers available only through the Amazon integration. The companies estimate these offers can produce more than $175 in annual savings for many users—an amount that exceeds the cost of a standard yearly Prime membership. To encourage immediate use, eligible members receive $20 off each of their first two orders of $25 or more when placed within the opening 14 days of the benefit. Prime Visa cardholders also earn 5 percent back on all Uber Eats orders placed through the Amazon channel through December 5, 2026.
The arrangement is designed to keep the ordering process inside the Amazon ecosystem that members already use for other shopping. Restaurant listings, item selection, and payment all occur under the member’s Amazon account, removing the need to manage a second set of credentials or switch applications. Orders are fulfilled by the Uber Eats delivery network, so the restaurants and courier infrastructure remain those already operating under Uber Eats.
By embedding restaurant delivery into the core Amazon shopping experience, the partnership expands the practical value of a Prime membership beyond traditional retail, streaming, and same-day package delivery. Members gain convenient access to prepared food without an extra fee on orders that meet the $25 threshold, while restaurants on the Uber Eats platform gain exposure to the large existing base of Prime subscribers. The benefit is available immediately to all qualifying U.S. members and requires no additional sign-up beyond an active Prime membership.
The companies present the integration as a way to make restaurant delivery as straightforward as other Amazon purchases. With the combination of zero delivery fees on eligible orders, introductory discounts, ongoing exclusive offers, and the 5 percent back rate for Prime Visa users, the new feature adds a recurring food-ordering capability to the single membership that many households already maintain.
