Soccer fans who use Paramount+ to follow Italian football have reason to keep the app on their home screen. CBS Sports and Lega Serie A announced they have extended their U.S. media rights partnership through the end of the 2026/2027 season, with all Serie A matches continuing to stream on Paramount+ in the United States.
The deal also keeps CBS Sports in control of exclusive English- and Italian-language rights to Italy’s top football competitions in the U.S. through the end of that season. According to the announcement, next season’s coverage will include 380 Serie A matches, plus a minimum of 20 Coppa Italia matches and every Supercoppa Italiana fixture.
What to Know About Serie A on Paramount+
The partnership between CBS Sports and Serie A began in 2021 and has helped increase the league’s visibility in the U.S. during a period of growing interest in European soccer. All 380 Serie A matches next season will stream live on the service, while select games will also air across CBS Sports’ broader platform lineup, including the CBS Television Network, CBS Sports Network, and CBS Sports Golazo Network.
The agreement covers the United States and its territories, and CBS Sports will also continue to support the league with shoulder programming, including pre- and post-match studio coverage, on-site production from selected matches. Other digital coverage will be included on CBSSports.com and CBS Sports social platforms.
The extension helps reinforce Paramount+’s sports lineup at a time when live sports remain one of the biggest reasons people subscribe. With plans starting at $8.99 per month, or $13.99 for Premium, the service packs a lineup of top leagues, including the WNBA, UFC, PGA Tour, college football and basketball, and much more. In addition to Serie A, Paramount+ is home to other top soccer leagues, including the National Women’s Soccer League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League.
Soccer fans who rely on Paramount+ for Serie A coverage will be happy to know that the setup isn’t going away anytime soon. The league’s U.S. presence is staying put, and Paramount+ remains the main streaming home for every match.
